Today the Sun moved into Taurus and will stay here Today the Sun moved into Taurus and will stay here for the next month. This marks a clear change in pace, as we move from the restless, impatient fire of Aries into something slower and more deliberate. Unlike what came before, Taurus isn’t interested in being first. This sign is much more concerned with what is real - what can be felt, held and sustained over time. You may well notice a slowing down. That the fire which demanded action has settled and your attention has shifted from your head into a more grounded awareness of your body. Taurus is connected to the practical realities of life - your health, your money and your relationship to pleasure. So this is a time to re-evaluate what is truly important to you. What are you no longer willing to compromise on? And finally - this season will be illuminating a particular area of your life. The New Moon cycle begins tomorrow. New Moons mar The New Moon cycle begins tomorrow. New Moons mark beginnings - often arriving with an inner recognition that something has reached its limit. Aries as the first sign of the zodiac loves to initiate - to bring things into being. At its best, it invites courage, passion and the willingness to begin. At its most difficult, it can stir anger, impatience and a restless pressure that has nowhere clear to go. And these Aries qualities are intensified now - as seven planets gather in this sign: Neptune, Mercury, Mars, Saturn, Chiron, the Sun and the Moon. Which means that this New Moon is unusually concentrated. The last time this many planets gathered in Aries was in early April 2011 It was a period marked by unrest and sudden disruption - political uprisings, natural disasters and events that escalated quickly across different parts of the world. There was a sense that things were moving fast and that something long building had reached a breaking point. You may recognise something of that quality now. Not only in the world around you, but in your own life. Especially as Mars and Saturn are both part of this gathering. This connection is rarely comfortable as both planets desire very different outcomes Mars wants action - to lead and assert. Saturn wants restraint - to slow things down and ensure nothing moves without purpose. The result can feel like moving with the brakes on. You may be feeling this tension in your body - as pressure, particularly in the head, the part of the body that Aries rules. If you know your chart, look to where 28 degrees of Aries falls as this is the part of your life being activated - Where stagnation will not hold for long. However remember that Aries is one of the most capable signs of finding ways to move forward. So trust your instincts. Notice what is being ignited. The Full Moon arrives today And at this time - em The Full Moon arrives today And at this time - emotions, feelings and reactions are naturally heightened Because a Full Moon intensifies gravitational pulls on tides, tectonic plates and your psyche So you may find that you've been feeling more wired in the lead up to this lunar climax As any issues that you have been ignoring or suppressing often use this opportunity to come up for air And while this can feel uncomfortable (there is a reason why lunatic is derived from Latin word lunaticus meaning moonstruck) This is actually a good thing Because Full Moons are incredibly cleansing This is the easiest time of your month to release and let go of toxicity - physical and emotional And as this Full Moon is in Libra - the energy of this Moon is drawn towards your relationships Especially (as Libra is represented by the scales) to balance Looking at what is in balance and what is out of balance Because Libra is ruled by Venus - the planet of love, justice and harmony So finding your emotional equilibrium is especially important to this Full Moon And while Libra naturally tries to do this through connection with others We also need to remember that Full Moons are a time of opposition This Moon is opposite to the Sun which right now sits in the sign of Aries And Aries has a very different, opposite intention. Rather than being about relationships - Aries is focused on the self, personal identity So somewhere in your life you are being called to find the middle ground To create balance between your needs and the needs of others. Look at where 13 degrees of Libra sits in your natal chart This will highlight the area of your life where this wrestle is taking place So if you can, take some time over the next few days to assess how your own internal scales are currently positioned Full Moon are particularly gifted at illuminating your blindspots Nothing stays hidden under a Full Moon So notice what feelings are coming up And more importantly why Because this is one of the most powerful times for healing, cleansing and release Lots of love X #fullmoon
