Mercury in Retrograde (in Libra)

As I wrote about yesterday we are now in the midst of Mercury in Retrograde.

And as we know, when any planet is in Retrograde (seemingly going backwards from our Earth’s view) it is a great time to focus on revisiting, reviewing and reflecting upon our circumstances.

It is also worth noting that Mercury is currently in Libra – the sign of the zodiac most connected to others.

Libra (represented by the scales) is an indicator of balance and how our relationships are playing out can often illuminate those areas within ourselves that may need adjusting in some way.

As an Air sign – Libra is very much connected to the mind. Air signs have a wonderful ability to step back and look at the bigger picture.

So while relationships may well come under the spotlight during these three weeks and any unacknowledged tensions or frustrations are likely to exacerbate; you will also also have a ability to disengage and see both sides of any situation.

If you can, rather than focus on day to day irritations it’s worth seeking the trigger and what lies underneath. With an Air Mercury in Retrograde, frustrations are often connected to time management and communication.

So right now reassessing your priorities and going back over these related themes can be incredibly worthwhile.
